What is Wessex Health Partners?

Wessex Health Partners (WHP) is a strategic partnership of leading universities, NHS organisations and the Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN). Its mission is to accelerate better health and care through research, innovation and training. In this video, WHP Managing Director, Christine McGrath, explains the role of WHP in improving population health and addressing the health and care needs of communities across Wessex. Christine attended the health inequalities event organised by Wessex AHSN and the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) Wessex in June 2023.
