The 10 Year Health Plan for England sets out ambitions to make genomics part of routine care across rare diseases, cancer and population health.

Alongside the Office for Life Sciences Sector Plan, and the National Cancer Plan for England, it highlights how research, science and innovation can support this ambition and help the health and care system better meet people’s needs.

As the public is becoming more aware of the benefits of genetic testing, and as more testing is becoming available, systems are coming together in a way that offers the potential to accelerate genomic innovation adoption.

Register now for the latest Health Innovation Network Innovation Insights webinar, ‘Genomics: The power of networking to drive genomic innovation’, hosted by Health Innovation Wessex. The session will cover:

  • The opportunities and challenges in the genomics innovation landscape
  • What patients and innovators are experiencing and how we are working with them
  • How the three health innovation networks, Health Innovation Wessex, Health Innovation West Midlands, Health Innovation Oxford and Thames Valley, in the Central and South Genomics geography supported the identification, collaboration and adoption of genomics innovations.
  • Our experiences of specific genomic collaborations and the impact they have had including working towards a shared objective.
