Why is patient and public involvement important?

In June 2023, Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) and the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) Wessex jointly hosted an event exploring how research and innovation can help tackle health inequalities. In this video, NIHR ARC Wessex Public Contributors, Trevor and Eric, share their thoughts on the event and the importance of patient and public involvement. Trevor and Eric joined the event to advise and support research and innovation.
