Reducing harm from opioid use

Line illustration of hexagons

The Medicine Safety Improvement Programme (MedSIP) is commissioned by NHS England as part of the Patient Safety Strategy.

The programme has one primary objective: to improve the care of people living with chronic pain in England by reducing harm from opioids, particularly those taken for non-cancer pain.

This toolkit comprises the primary resources developed to support the work of the Wessex Opioids Network.
