FeNO patient leaflet translated into seven languages

What is FeNO?

FeNO (Fractional exhaled Nitric Oxide), is a test for measuring the amount of Nitric Oxide in the exhaled breath of patients. The results of the test can help with the diagnosis of asthma, by showing the level of inflammation in the lungs. A patient’s FeNO level helps improve the accuracy of asthma diagnosis and helps indicate which medications will work best for them.

The FeNO patient leaflet tells people what to expect, why the test is important and how best to prepare for it. Wessex AHSN is proud to support the uptake of FeNO testing in primary care as part of the Accelerated Access Collaborative’s Rapid Uptake Programme and these translations, along with audio versions, show our commitment to providing equity of access in healthcare. The 7 languages are:
