Technology Support Programme 2 Round 3: i4i PDA 

Wessex AHSN and Clinical Research Network are calling for innovators to collaborate on NIHR i4i Product Development Award applications. The Technology Support Programme 2 (TSP2) draws together clinical and academic expertise from across Dorset and Hampshire to build strong research teams capable of winning funding. Our first round has recently secured £150,000 for MedTech development through the i4i Connect.

Companies successfully accepted into the programme will benefit from feedback on their technology from a Wessex wide panel of experts and a committed NHS research partnership to apply for this funding stream. The TSP2 is seeking SMEs which meet the criteria of the i4i Product Development Award, click here to find out more and apply.

Essential requirements of the i4i PDA

• Projects can be led by small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SME), NHS providers or higher education institutions (HEIs).
• Projects must be collaborative between any two of the eligible types of organisation.
• Projects can last a minimum of 24 months and a maximum of 36 months.
• The lead organisation must be registered in England.
• Typical awards of £0.6m-£1.2m.
• Projects need to address a clearly defined unmet clinical need.
