New Innovation Exchange podcast: Innovation Accelerators – what can they do for you?

In the latest episode of the AHSN Network Innovation Exchange podcast, our host Dr Hasan Chowhan delves into the NHS Innovation Accelerator and Digital Health.London Accelerator.

The two accelerator programmes are run by the AHSN Network to help fast track health innovators to meet the challenges facing the NHS and social care system today.

Amongst DigitalHealth.London’s co-founding partners are the AHSN Network’s three London AHSNs; Health Innovation Network (HIN), Imperial College Health Partners, and UCLPartners.

What do the accelerator programmes offer innovators? Which one should you apply for? Do they really help? Hasan finds out by questioning Anna King, Commercial Director at the HIN.

Hasan, who is Chairman of the North East Essex CCG, also speaks with three successful accelerator alumni, including: Tom Whicher from Dr Doctor – a Patient Engagement Platform; Charlotte Wood from Oxehealth – a patient monitoring and management system; and Carly Edwards from S12 Solutions – an app and website (platform), which helps mental health professionals efficiently complete Mental Health Act 1983 (MHA) processes; who have some interesting insights and inspiring stories.
