Healios shortlisted for two HealthInvestor awards

A pioneering project encouraging families to take control when it comes to their physical and mental health has been shortlisted for two national awards.

Founded in 2013, Healios focuses on maximising patient and family outcomes by merging technology, medical expertise and personal support.

Based in Southampton, they have been shortlisted for two HealthInvestor awards that recognise achievement in the business of healthcare:

• Clinical Services, Diagnostics provider of the year
  
• Technology, Technology provider of the year
  

The project brings together the three core areas of a patient’s treatment; the patient, their families and medical professionals. By providing this support in an easily accessible and manageable way health outcomes are greatly improved.

With patients more engaged in managing their health, Healios allows treatment teams to better prioritise resources and clinician time for more complex cases. 

The awards ceremony itself takes place on 1st June 2017. You can view the full shortlist here.
