YouGov survey highlights AHSNs increasing engagement and improvement

Wessex AHSN has published the results of its second stakeholder survey, carried out by YouGov on behalf of NHS England. 

The poll was commissioned to help AHSNs understand progress, highlight areas of good practice and identify areas for collective development, and finds that nationally almost 8 in 10 respondents would recommend working with AHSNs to others. 

At a local level, we were delighted that: 

• 65% of respondents think our quality improvement work is valuable, representing an increase of 12 percentage points compared to the 2015 survey
  
• the perceived value of our work in patient safety increased by 13 percentage points over the 12 months, and 
  
• two thirds of those surveyed considered the quality of support we provide as good, placing us in the middle tier of all AHSNs.
