New report sets out AHSNs' impact

13 June 2016

The 2016 Impact Report – Improving Health and Promoting Economic Growth has been published today (Monday, 13 June) by the national AHSN Network, and outlines the work done by its 15 members over the last 12 months.

You can view the PDF of the document here.

The achievements of Wessex Academic Health Science Network are included in the report, which demonstrates the impact AHSNs are having on health services across the country.

Wessex projects featured include our work on spreading and adopting the Early Intervention in Psychosis pathway (TRIumPH); our role in supporting the development of a Faecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) bank at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust; work on transfers of care evaluated on the Isle of Wight; and our role in trailing a home test for predicting lung infection flare-ups.

All of the AHSNs' national priorities have also been plotted on a new matrix for 2016-17 too. You can view this here.
