De-implementation - Making space for Innovation

At Health Innovation Wessex we are experts in helping health and care systems to implement innovation to create a healthier population. However, the success of innovation adoption is often dependent on stopping interventions or processes that are removed or replaced by an innovation. This requires managed approaches to both adoption and 'de-implementation.'

The Health Innovation Wessex De-implementation model offers health and care systems, services and teams a managed approach to removing the interventions you have chosen to discontinue. Using our evidence based Four Pillars of De-implementation model we can support you in deciding whether to Remove, Restrict, Reduce, or Replace these practices. This practical resource supports evidence-based change, improves patient outcomes, and makes way for new innovation.

Think of it as clearing out old tools to make room for new, more effective ones.
