Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy - Lung Cancer Pilot Evaluation

Overview

This evaluation demonstrated an option for managing complex lung cancer diagnosis challenges. Patients whose lung lesions cannot be diagnosed through standard procedures would normally go onto a computerised tomography (CT) observation (watch and wait) pathway. By using electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB), these patients may have a chance of receiving an earlier definitive diagnosis. Further evaluation would understand better system complexities of the lung cancer pathway.
