Time:
12:00-13:15

The Health Innovation Network Polypharmacy: Getting the Balance Right Programme aims to support local systems and primary care to identify patients at potential risk of harm and support better conversations about medicines by promoting shared decision making. One of the core principles of this is population health management. To consider how best to understand and utilise available data, the Health Innovation Network and NHS Business Services Authority (BSA) are hosting a webinar.

What will I learn?

Join us to hear about how and why the RCGP/ Royal College of Pharmacy Repeat Prescribing Toolkit was developed. You will learn how the Toolkit can help you to assess your repeat prescribing system and hear how GP Practices and PCNs are already using the Toolkit to identify medication safety risks and oversupply issues in their local arrangements.

Guest Speakers:

Clare Howard, Clinical Lead, Health Innovation Network, Addressing Problematic Polypharmacy Programme

Ben Barker, Customer Engagement & Training Lead Data Services – Digital, Data & Technology, NHSBSA

Iz Avery-Phipps, CV AMP Nottinghamshire 'Strengths & Gaps in the Repeat Prescribing Process'.

We encourage attendance from ICS medicines optimisation leads and Primary Care Network (PCN) teams, including GPs and pharmacists
