The Health Innovation Network will be exhibiting once again at this year’s NHS ConfedExpo, taking place at Manchester Central on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 June.
This year, we’ll be joined on our stand by 18 Network-supported innovators, showcasing innovations which are helping to deliver the Government’s three shifts for the NHS and solve some of the health and care sector’s biggest challenges. We are proud to be hosting this year’s Innovation Theatre, with a packed agenda of sessions exploring how innovation can transform lives, whilst driving economic growth.
Health Innovation Wessex will be delivering two sessions this year, with expert speakers including our very own Holly Green, Patient safety programme manager and Leah Gallon, Associate Director, Innovation Adoption.
Our first session will explore the maternity and neonatal pre-term optimisation the programme, which provided external coaching for four maternity and neonatal teams in the south of England based on culture, behaviours and outcomes.
Our second session will focus on England’s women’s health strategy, which aims to improve how the health and care system improves women’s experiences of care. Despite having a longer average lifespan than men, women in the UK spend a greater proportion of their lives in ill health or with a disability. This discussion will highlight how the Dorset integrated care system has adopted a system-wide approach to address these challenges and improve women’s health outcomes.
In addition, Peter Rhodes, Senior Programme Manager, Industry and Innovation will also be on hand to give bespoke advice and support. Visit the Health Innovation Network stand – D70 – on the day to book in with Peter Rhodes.
