Steve has spent 15 years working in public sector public relations and communications roles, including spells with the Ministry of Defence, Public Health England, in local government, NHS clinical commissioning groups and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. He has particular expertise in media handling, event management, campaigning and stakeholder engagement.
He was a newspaper journalist for seven years, latterly chief reporter at the Scunthorpe Telegraph, and studied History and International Relations at Lancaster University. Steve is also a United Nations online volunteer, taking on assignments for the World Health Organization, UN Development Programme and a mental health NGO in Nepal.
