The regions life sciences industry employs 9000 and has a turnover of £2.5 billion. In addition, 10% of the workforce in Wessex is employed by the health economy. This represents a significant opportunity to build meaningful partnerships and start a movement which will have a significant impact on reaching net zero targets at a local regional and national level.
