Q is an initiative connecting people who have health and care improvement expertise across the UK. It is being led by the Health Foundation, supported and co-funded by NHS Improvement, with a mission to foster continuous and sustainable improvement in healthcare. Health Innovation Wessex is supporting the Health Foundation grow the community. We have a solid foundation of Wessex based Q members and we give them a platform to collaborate, learn and contribute to the community whilst also promoting the programme to potential new members. We work to re-energise the programme in Wessex in such a way that aids with the overall targets/aims of Health Innovation Wessex. Where possible we give members the opportunity to utilise their expertise in our workstreams.
Q was co-designed with 231 founding members in 2015. This helps ensure Q is genuinely helpful to the diverse range of people leading improvement. Q will continue to evolve – being shaped with the community as it grows. There are now over 4500 members in the community, and it will continue to grow.
