Wessex AHSN is pleased to announce the appointment of a number of clinical leads and patient safety specialists to bring additional rigour to its health innovation programmes.
Professor Jane Reid has been appointed as the Clinical Lead for the Patient Safety Collaborative. Prof Reid’s current portfolio includes the rôle of non-executive director at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Visiting Professor at Bournemouth University.
Mr Geoff Cooper joins as the Patient Safety Collaborative Manager on secondment from University Hospital Southampton.
Isle of Wight general practitioner, Dr Michelle Legg, has accepted the role of Clinical Lead for the Dementia Quality Improvement Programme.
Dr Shanaya Rathod will join the Mental Health Quality Improvement Programme as Clinical Lead. Dr Rathod is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Service Director at Southern Health NHS Trust.
