The NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) is an NHS England initiative delivered in partnership with all 15 Academic Health Science Networks. It is designed to support exceptional individuals to scale their innovations for greater patient and population benefit, and to share their learning, insight and expertise widely.
Fellows can be clinicians, academics, from industry (SMEs or large corporates), or from charitable and not-for-profit organisations. NIA Fellows receive support through several mechanisms, such as mentoring, peer community and a structured learning programmes.
