Vacancy: Deputy CEO and Director of Innovation Adoption
NHS VSM T&Cs
Closes: 17 November
Healthcare is undergoing a scientific and technological revolution. Every week new drugs, diagnostics, technologies and care models are announced to the world.
Yet highly regulated, complex health systems can find adoption of innovation tough. If you enjoy working in complex systems with conflicting pressures; if you can build trusted relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and sectors; if you have experience of supporting adoption of innovation at scale, then this could be the job for you.
As Deputy Chief Executive you will contribute to the strategic development of Wessex AHSN, its member network and the national network of AHSNs. As Director of Innovation Adoption, you will be responsible for supporting NHS and partner bodies, such as local councils, with all stages of adoption from proof of concept through to adoption across systems.
You will also work with providers, commissioners and arm’s length bodies to develop innovation adoption-friendly processes and cultures, and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from other AHSNs on national adoption programmes.
Now is a great time to join the AHSN. We’re at an exciting time in our history: we’ve got a very successful seven years under our belt and an exciting future ahead – working to grow and support health innovation across Dorset, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and South Wiltshire; and also working with other AHSNs, NHS England, NHS Improvement and the Office for Life Sciences as we look to have national impact.
All details about the role, including how to apply, can be found on NHS Jobs here.
