Almost 150 delegates joined Wessex AHSN's executive, programme and clinical teams at St Mary's Stadium on 13th October to learn how we've been making a difference to people's health and supporting economic growth in the region's health and life science industries during 2014-15.
We listened to a range of speakers in addition to the Wessex AHSN Leadership Team, including:
Delegates engaged with the Innovation Into Practice Marketplace during the day, where a range of our programmes outlined their work at a series of interactive stands. Exhibits included students from Eastleigh College who gave hand massages using Salisbury NHS Trust's skincare range My Trusty, a 'guess the units' bar from the Know Your Numbers alcohol awareness team, a grip strength competition from the nutrition programme leads and lung capacity testing from the MISSION Respiratory team.
