Helen Kelley

Business Support Assistant

Helen joined HIW in November 2024. She has over twenty years’ experience working in administration and five years in event management. Before joining HIW, she worked at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, where she had a career in administration. In a previous role she completed an Executive Assistant Diploma gaining qualifications in Advanced IT User, Advanced Administration, Advanced Business Documents, Managerial Administration, Executive Assistant Skills and Leadership Skills.

Helen first started her NHS career as a 999 Call Taker for South Central Ambulance Service during Covid. After a year of 999 call taking, she moved back to administration as a Patient Pathway Coordinator in Child Health for the Sleep Team at UHS. In this role she managed all aspects of the patient’s pathway from referral to treatment. During her time as a Patient Pathway Coordinator, she was successfully promoted to Speciality Team Leader moving on to manage six specialities which included 19 Patient Pathway Coordinators.
