Amanda has a background in health and social care-focused research and evaluation, having worked in the private, local authority, health and academic sectors. She has held research roles at the universities of Winchester, Southampton and Oxford. She obtained her PhD from the University of Southampton in 2013.
Prior to joining Health Innovation Wessex she worked in the Research and Development (R&D) team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, supporting clinicians to develop research projects, facilitating patient and public involvement and overseeing a small team of Patient Research Ambassadors.
