Independent Evaluation of the Mountbatten Coordination Centre

This report evaluates the impact of the introduction of a new end of life co-ordination service introduced on the Isle of Wight by the Mountbatten Centre. The report was produced early in the services’ life but found that there was evidence that more patients were being supported at end of life, with responsive care being delivered to patients (and their families) at home and that the service was central to the delivery of coordinated end of life care on the Island.
