The technology delivers targeted, controlled doses of stored thermal energy in water vapour directly to the region of the prostate gland with the obstructive tissue causing lower urinary tract symptoms . Rezum effectively alleviates benign prostatic hyperplasia and patients can be treated as outpatients.
